The Plexus Surgery App is an ongoing project where we catalog our Video Lectures, OSCEs & MCQS and contains many more academic tools to enhance your knowledge and generate confidence for surgical examinations at all levels.
Over 200 Video Lectures on the Must Know topics for the Surgery Examinations segmented according to the nature of class eg. Case presentations, Operative, Ward Clinics and according to anatomical region eg, Colorectal, Hernia, Vascular etc. Most classes are 45 mins at length but some stretch for two hours. These are all real time recording of actual classes we took with trainees. It gives the feeling of being in an actual classroom.
Most new age examinations are carried out in the OSCE and MCQ/SBA formats. There is a separate section which caters to this on the App. The student can either read or get quizzed on it with a timer simulating an examination.

CCC Surgery feels strongly about resident burnout and demotivation. While it is important to strive for excellence in the field, it is equally important to take regular timeouts and allow more time towards oneself and one’s family. These are really the modifiable risk factors in any long term stress induced infliction found among surgeons.

No, we don’t coach the above. We just supplement the knowledge base of our students so that they have all the tools to achieve success in any level of surgical assessment.
Surgery is a vast and rapidly evolving line, so all the students are encouraged to read from established books and journals to get their desired success.
No, we don’t conduct formal coaching for any of these examinations.
It will help you to understand the underlying concepts in Surgery. Being part of the Plexus Surgery project will supplement not only your understanding of the subject by reading the standard books but it will also help you assimilate knowledge from any other lectures or conferences you might attend. It will keep you well informed about your surgery preparation and performance in examinations.
In addition to all the features on the App, you will be invited to attend the monthly Plexus Meet where we discuss various academic aspects of a theme, like case presentations, operative videos and OSCEs.
Currently, you can subscribe either for a year or for your full residency (3 years) till you pass your exit examination.
